Hello and welcome! I'm Katharina — or simply Katha — a passionate AkroYoga teacher based in Cologne. My yoga journey has taken me halfway around the world, all the way to India, where I completed my 500-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training in Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. This strong foundation shapes my teaching and fuels my love for movement, connection, and trust.
Since 2018, I have been teaching AkroYoga in Cologne — offering beginner and intermediate classes, private sessions, AkroYoga weekends, bachelorette (JGA) events, and unforgettable gift experiences for special occasions.

AkroYoga combines movement, balance, and trust in an easy, playful way. Many exercises flow naturally — you often won't even notice how much strength you're building. While balancing someone or "flying" yourself, you automatically activate your deep core muscles, stabilize your center, and strengthen arms, shoulders, and legs.
At the same time, every position creates new space in your body: you stretch further, become more supple, and gain flexibility naturally. All of this happens without pressure — simply through fun, curiosity, and exploring together.
